Lessons are a wonderful opportunity to learn and grow!

That being said, here are some things to help lessons go smoothly:

1)Lessons are paid for in advance. If a lesson is scheduled but not paid for, it will not occur. Payment on this site is handled by PayPal.

2)If a student is late, they will receive the remainder of their lesson time but they are not entitled to extra lesson time to make up for their late arrival.

3)If a student needs to cancel a lesson, the teacher must be notified at least 24 hours in advance or the lesson fee will still apply for the missed lesson. The only exception is a severe medical or family emergency.

If the teacher needs to cancel a lesson, notice will be given as far in advance as possible and that specific lesson will either be moved to a time/day that works for the teacher and the student, or the student will not be charged for that specific cancelled lesson.

4)Learning an instrument takes time and practice. Lessons are about guidance and constructive advice. They cannot make up for lack of practice.

5)It is not possible to guarantee competition results. Students participating in competitions should do so because the experience challenges them to work harder and attain a new level of performance regardless of where they place in the actual competition.
